Kingdom Expedition

Modest 4x4's First Ever Kingdom Expedition!

We have puttered on the back roads.
We have hammered it in the playgrounds.
We have splashed in the spa.
We have even climbed a hill or two.

But this year is our first ever Expedition ride. Three days of you, your rig, and your modest family navigating through some of the most unused backwoods in Vermont. 70 Miles of nothingness, No Cell Phone service, out of CB range and not a gas station or Dunkin Donuts for hours. You will be put to the test, can your rig make it? Can you stay off the skinny pedal and make your fuel last? Bring out what you pack in, this is camping, off-roading and wilderness survival rolled into one.

Details:

When: T.B.D. (To Be Decided)

Where: Rally Point will be the Dunkin Donuts in St. J (the group will travel to the trail head together 2hrs away)

At the Rally point trail leaders will confirm that each vehicle has everything that is on the "Must Have" list below.
Maps, emergency information and something special will be provided to each driver at the trail head only and not before.

Must Haves:
First Aid Kit
CB radio (vehicle mount or handheld)
Spare Tire (No donuts)
Jack (High-lift or bottle)
Tow strap(s) (loop only, no hooks)
Winch or Come-a-long
1 or 2 Jerry cans

Suggested Brings:
Enough non-perishable food for everyone in your vehicle for 4 days.
Enough water for everyone in your vehicle for 4 days (include extra for your radiator).
A small shovel and TP.
Sleeping bags\blankets
Tent\tarp or something to keep you out of the elements should it rain.
Garbage bags
Tools should you break

Disclaimer:
As a club we try our best to make sure no vehicle is left behind however because this ride is so long and will be on such a tight time frame. We will not be able to devote more than an hour on any extraction or repair. Volunteer assistance is all you will be able to get, the main group must press on. (We don't like having to do this but for the good of the group we will press on)

Only registered 2010 member vehicles will be allowed

There will be a sign up available starting in May for this trip.
If you don't sign up please don't show up as there will be something special only for the participants that sign up.
